Howrah and Nandigram both witnessed scenes of fighting and violence today.  While BJP issued a statement saying that it was TMC workers who had attacked them, TMC has strongly denied these charges. Meanwhile Mamta who has come under a lot of flak decided to go ahead with her routine as planned by her.

Mamata has sarcastically asked BJP to try and win 30 seats at least in the forthcoming Bengal elections in 2022.
