According to a TMC statement after Mamta spoke to Pawar on Sunday, with this request he has consented and agreed to join in.

On Sunday, Mamata Banerjee, the West Bengal Chief Minister thanked DMK President MK Stalin and the four Chief Ministers who had supported her stand on the Centre’s move to transfer IPS officers. The 4 Chief Ministers who had supported her were Bhupesh Baghel, Arvind Kejriwal, Ashok Gehlot, and Capt. Amarinder. Recently there has been a tussle between the Central and the state government, due to the direction given by the Union Home Ministry concerning 3 IPS officers who are being sent on central deputation. The duty of these officers was the responsibility of security cover for the BJP National chief – JP Nadda. Last week the convoy of Nadda was attacked by TMC Security workers.
