Milind Soman is a well know name when it comes to fitness outdoors, be it his marathons or the Pinkathon he is a regular at participating in runs and keeps posting his videos on his social media. Now with the lockdown, understandably the outdoors is not an option for him or for others like him. He has therefore, come up with a novel idea as a substitute to running. The model and actor says that although this pandemic is a huge challenge for all it need not make you compromise on your fitness routine.

If you were always fond of running and can’t do it now because of the lockdown, Milind Soman gives you an alternative – staircase climbing!

In a recent interview to a leading newspaper he mentioned that he was missing the outdoors tremendously but has come up with this stair climbing idea. He also added that he is using his lockdown time very effectively by staying fit, trying his hand at cooking.  The 54 year old fitness enthusiast keeps posting videos of wife Ankita, his mother Usha and himself working out together either on their terrace or doing this staircase workout together. He feels this is a great source of bonding and joy. He gives equal importance to physical and mental health and the latter according to him is very important during the lockdown period.
