Bollywood under the Coronavirus lockdown – opens up various avenues for Bollywood stars to utilise their free time!

As the novel coronavirus continues to wreak havoc globally, all necessary precautions are being taken by the Indian government too to control its spread. As a precautionary measure various events from the film and television industry which called for huge gatherings and crowds have been called off. Cinema halls in major cities were given orders to shut down and close business till 31st March 2020.

In an official statement released by the Producers Guild of India, it was mentioned that all Hindi films, shows and advertisement shoots across the country would be suspended from March 19th to March 31st, 2020.

The film units that called off work  on their own initiative were Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’  while the first film to announce a change in its release date was Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi.’
