Internet guru Google revealed recently the most searched things by Indians this year who were quite eager to know many a things right from Cricket & movies to technology & space science.
The top five in the list started off with the ICC Cricket World Cup being at the top position for the most searched topic, followed by the Lok Sabha elections at number two, a much talked about & controversial film of the year Kabir Singh at the number three spot & Avengers series End game to end this list at number five.
It also revealed the top trending personalities on the Internet which included the name of IAF wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman at number one position, Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar at second position & famous Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh at number three. And, at the fourth spot was ace mathematician & educator Anand Kumar (Super 30, a Bollywood movie based on his life was crucial in doing this).
Coming to the technology part people were most interested in knowing how to play PUBG where PUBG tutorials were searched the most. Next, they wanted to know how to select channels for TRAI where they are free to choose from a selection of channels.
Another crucial thing they searched about was Chandrayaan 2. It has been one of the most significant searches in Google. It was the second lunar exploration mission developed by ISRO.
People were also interested in knowing more about Fastag when the government announced that Fastag needs to be installed on every car in India.
They also searched about mobile stores near them to get hands-on the latest smartphones. And, looking at the state of New Delhi this year, they were also concerned about the Air quality index near them.
Concerning other things that Indians were eager to know included how to vote, how to link Aadhaar to PAN. People were also inquisitive about Article 370, exit polls, Howdy Modi &e-cigarettes as well.
