WhatsApp is one of the most famous chat app across the globe. It is known for regularly updating the chat app such that they can stay ahead of their
competitors such as iMessage and Telegram.
As per the recent report, it has been known that the latest beta version of the WhatsApp application is coming up with two major features i.e. Hide muted status and Facebook Pay updates.
Let us have a look at both of the new features that are coming up :-
- Hide Muted status updated
In the latest beta version of WhatsApp, users can hide their muted status
updates in collapsible menu.
Until now, the muted status updates was present in a separate menu within
the status section of the WhatsApp Application.
Once the update has been taken place, the muted status updates would be
hidden in the muted update section present in the status tab.
- Facebook pay
Facebook is in the process of launching its own payment system for all its
application which also includes WhatsApp.
The first sign of this feature appeared on the beta version of WhatsApp
2.19.260.
In addition, it may also integrate Libra cryptocurrency with the Facebook Pay.
The feature of Facebook Pay was first found by WABetaInfo which is a website which follows the WhatsApp updates.
Facebook is constantly working to explore different ways to monetise
WhatsApp since 2014.
The company earlier launched WhatsApp Pay in India but faced a number of problems.
