Aamir Khan doesn’t have his fan baseonly in India, but an equally huge fan base in China as well since many of his films release there & become a massive hit; such is the fandom& stardom that Khan enjoys from the people in China.
Recently, during an interaction with his Chinese fans through Weibo social media account, the actor expressed his concern over the outbreak of the epidemic called Coronavirus. The virus has till date taken till more than 2,300 lives& looking at the death ratio increasing, Khan asked all the people in China to take extra care & precautions during this time of crisis & follow the instructions given by the government.
The Hindi Film Industry actor who is a superstar in India, has the same stardom in China where his films like 3 Idiots & Dangal became highly popular & garnered great numbers even at the Chinese box office.
Akin to Twitter, through the Weibo social media sending across a video message, Khan interacted with many Chinese fans with Chinese subtitles on the Weibo account & said, “A very warm hello to all my friends in China. Since I read about the outbreak of coronavirus over there, I have been extremely concerned. I have been in touch with a few of my friends and I have been following this tragedy with a lot of pain in my heart. My heartfelt condolences to those who have lost somebody close.” he said on Friday.
Asking people to take care of themselves, he further said, “I know that these are very difficult times. I am sure the administration is doing all that they can to bring back things to control and back to normal and the best that we can do at this time is to take care, take precautions, and follow the instructions of the administration and help them to help us.”
According to the Chinese health officials, it was reported on Saturday that, in addition to more than 2,300 deaths, the number has gone up by 109 deaths more& the confirmed cases have gone up to 76,288.
Sending his love to all the people in China, Aamir said, “I hope and pray that things get back to normal very soon in China. My thoughts and my prayers are with you in this time of crisis. Sending you all my love, take care, be safe, be healthy.”
