Karan Johar is one filmmaker of the Hindi film industry who is known for creating great drama & emotional stories on screen. He is not just a director who is known for giving a break to newcomers but also is known as a very sensitive & emotional person for the kids he launches in the industry be it, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra or Varun Dhawan & more recently Janhvi Kapoor & Ananya Pandey.
On the personal front as well, he is a person who is extremely close to his mother. In 2017 through surrogacy, twins were born to Johar& today his twins Roohi & Yash celebrate their 3rd birthday. So, the 47-year-old filmmaker got all touchy & posted a heartwarming letter on Instagram with a family portrait in which he can be seen all smiles with his kids & his mother.
KJo got all emotional & thanked his mother as well who has been a strong support system in his parenthood. He wrote, “I am a single parent in social status… but in actuality am definitely not… my mother so beautifully and emotionally co parents our babies with me… I could never have taken such a big decision without her solid support.”Yash was named after the filmmaker’s late father Yash Johar while Roohi’s name is a rearrangement of his mother’s name Hiroo.
And wishing his twins on completing 3 years, the emotional father quoted, “The twins turn three today, and our feeling of being blessed continues with renewed vigour with every passing year… I thank the universe for completing us with Roohi and Yash.”
Earlier for celebrating Roohi & Yash’s D Day, Johar hosted a camp-themed birthday celebration at the Taj Lands’ End which was attended not only by the kids gang including Taimur, Inaaya, Zain, Ravie, Laksshya& AbRam but also his closest friends from the industry like Rani Mukerji, Twinkle Khanna, Tusshar & Ekta Kapoor, Kajol, Mira Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Riteish Deshmukh, Kareena Kapoor & many others.
