It is bad news for iPhone users all over the world. In what seems to be a big challenge for all Apple’s ios devices around the world, a new text bug which contains a string of characters is being used by trouble makers to cause a lot of stress to the unsuspecting Apple user. It is continuing to affect the unsuspecting ios users. The current virus has a string of characters in Sindhi language and has an emoji of the Italian National flag next to it.
Although Apple has admitted that it is aware of this issue no fix to it has been rolled out as yet by the company.
The new bug is so dangerous that all it needs to infect and crash your device for you to just receive a message from the pranksters’ number. Once you do that your device crashes immediately. This string is also being circulated on twitter. This is restricted though only to Apple devices using iOS
The other platforms of Apple such as Apple TV, Mac and Apple watch are not likely to be affected.
The iOS 13.4.5 update some solutions from Apple Forums are likely to come up. However a quick solution to this problem seems to be unlikely at the moment. Until a stable solution is released by Apple the user has to take his or her own precautions to stay safe. The immediate thing to do is to take precautions and safety measure. The Apple user can switch off all notifications from any messaging or social media apps.
In case there is a problem and you do fall prey to this bug, the solution is a hard reset of the device. A back up of your i phone data is strongly recommended to avoid loss of any data, critical or otherwise.
Taking regular backups of your data is strongly recommended so that you are suddenly not caught by surprise and lose valuable information through loss of data.
