Reliance Jio partners with multiple banks to facilitate recharge at ATM’s

In a bid to add convenience and comfort to its users, in a novel initiative Reliance Jio users can now recharge through ATM machines. Reliance Jio has tied up with several banks including HDFC, ICICI, SBI and others to facilitate this for its prepaid users.

This new facility will be welcomed by its users especially in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, where social distancing is the need of the hour. Long queues, human interaction and personal visits for the recharge facility minimised through this. The reliance on stores would be eliminated.

The new system consist of simple steps wherein the users have  to insert their ATM card in the machine and select the recharge option from the menu, after that the mobile number to be recharged has to be entered and as a final step to this the ATM pin code has to be entered . An execution of these simple steps will complete the recharge. 

It is important that the user chooses the correct recharge plan and is aware of the same, as the correct number has to be entered in the ATM machine. As part of the confirmation process the users will see a message on the ATM screen and also get a confirmatory text message from Jio on their recharged mobile.

Currently for Jio users there are recharge various options available online but for those who are not online savy and would prefer another option this ATM recharge option will prove to be convenient and easy.

In another recent initiative to ease the difficult COVID -19 LOCKDOWN  periods for its users where people are compelled to work from home, Reliance Jio has introduced several plans for its users on its 4G pack such as doubling data and non Jio calling minutes. It has also introduced several works from home plans too. The Jio data plan comes with the benefit of 2GB per data to its customers.
