WhatsApp which is Facebook-owned had first launched the most talked about dark mode feature & since it is currently only for its Android beta users, not all would be able to opt for the new feature on the messaging app, but it is said that it is likely to be made available to all the users of WhatsApp shortly.

Facebook has decided to put across the feature to their Facebook Lite app first & later add to the main Facebook app. Users will also get to enable or disable the feature according to their requirements & they only will have to turn it on to use the feature on their phones.

Hence, to know how to enable the new dark mode feature on Facebook is essential & the process for doing that is also very easy to understand. On your Android mobile device, you will need to first download the newest version of the Facebook Lite app. However, the new feature is currently unavailable for iPhone users but is expected to roll out any time soon for them too. As of now, there are no details provided for the same.

Further, you need to login by entering your username & password post downloading the app. After opening the app, go to the Settings option, select the dark mode option & turn it on. Also, as mentioned before, users will be able to enable or disable the feature as & when they want to. And, as soon as the feature gets switched on, the Facebook interface turns dark.

It was also reported that Facebook started rolling the dark mode feature last month to a broader user base.
