Way back in 2007, Nikki Bella along with her twin sister Brie Bella, visited Mumbai and had the opportunity to shoot a commercial with the then reigning style icon and popular star of Bollywood – Aishwarya Rai. The former WWF wrestler Nikki Bella shared pictures on her instagram as sweet memories recounting this trip. The picture with the trio posing together is very striking and appealing and it is three beautiful women in a single frame. Her other pictures show her shopping, visiting temples, doing sightseeing etc. during that trip of hers.
Along with these throwback pictures of hers Nikki has written a long note wherein she writes that the duration of that trip was 11 days and the objective was to shoot a commercial with Aishwarya Rai. She also mentions how she fell in love with India “their culture, their food, their love and light.” She has also written that she took a lot of pictures and would put them up on her you tube channel.
Currently both the former WWE wrestlers are pregnant with Brie due in July and Nikki in August. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan meanwhile has already been blessed with a daughter Aaradhya. It is said that she will be starring soon in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film, Ponniyin Selvan in which she plays a character with grey shades
It is reported that Aishwarya Rai will be making her entry on the popular digital platform – Netflix. Many Bollywood stars like Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, and Radhika Apte are already a part of this platform. It is also said that this project has the backing of Shahrukh and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Aishwarya last starred in the movie Fanney Khan opposite Rajkumar Rao which proved to be a box office debacle.
