A few days ago ‘India’s Most Wanted’ actor Arjun Kapoor also turned an entrepreneur with his new home-made food delivery app business. This is something new for Arjun as he invested in an emerging startup company that focuses on delivering home-made food by home chefs.

With this startup of home-made food delivery, a positive social change towards gender parity will take place, according to the Panipat actor.

The food app is called foodcloud.in, which is trying to reach to as many home chefs & stay at home woman cooks to empower them & turn them into entrepreneurs.

The app focuses on delivering home-made food from women cooking at home from 35 different cuisines. It offers not only regional cuisines like Gujarati, Bengali, Marwari but also international specialities like Mexican, Thai & desserts as well.

Arjun also wanted to do something to raise awareness through this platform that aims to bring a positive change towards gender parity in the society & hence was working on the same for the past couple of months.

In a statement, he said, “I do feel this unique and impactful platform will serve a massive social purpose and contribute towards empowering homemakers and stay at home women to either maximize their own income or even contribute towards their overall family income.”

He also talked about how this new venture can prove to be an essential stepping stone for finding self-reliance & self-empowerment.

Arjun added that the response the app has received till now is delightful & that the team is also on a constant run to find the best home chefs & work from home cooks from various cities to provide them this common platform. The team is for a lookout for the best culinary heroes from every locality of India.

Since the release of the app, more than 4,000 women from metros like Mumbai, Delhi & Kolkata have already signed up & have even started their small businesses.

The company is also planning to expand to six other Indian cities soon.
